Hello, there!

It's been exactly one week since the show and you might have been wondering what we have been up to in the past seven days...well, ALOT. The third edition of Podium Jeunes Stylistes has been a huge triumph. Between successfully executing our third fashion show at the Westin Hotel Vendome in Paris, where we welcomed over 400 guests representing press, buyers, friends and family, to launching our first ever Ready-to-Wear collection, launching a Master’s program with ESCP Europe called Paris Factory Mode & Design, and creating the PJS Club for young entrepreneurs interested in Fashion -- One could say the Podium team has been a bit busy.

The first two years of any venture are full of learning curves, mistakes, and goal setting for the future. The third year is where you make or break it - and Podium is making it. Alongside our official sponsor, Messe Frankfurt, the 15 designers’ collections are being exhibited at one of the most prominent fashion trade shows in Europe - Apparel Sourcing, part of Texworld, which is giving an official platform for the designers to show their creativity and talent to a professional audience.

At a press conference today, the Podium team announced the official launch of the PJS Club, open to students in any aspect of business, fashion, or those who are just simply passionate about the two. The club will bring important speakers from the fashion industry to the group, as well as providing members with access to tradeshows such as Messe Frankfurt and Who’s Next and much more.

The third edition of the fashion show has been receiving such great reviews, that the team is energized to keep extending the PJS brand into new areas. Starting with our first ever prêt à porter collection, which will be made up of the 15 pieces created by the talented competitors of this year’s competition, PJS hopes to expand internationally in 2012. With plans to extend its reach to further Eastern and Western countries, the team hasn’t quit working just because the show is over.

Get ready fashion world - the young talent coming from Podium Jeunes Stylistes is changing the game. It isn’t often that you hear of new, young designers coming from Paris, the home of large fashion houses and luxury brands. But with this year’s winners, Lou de Testa and Paul May, Podium is introducing the next generation of fashion talent to the Paris scene.
